The 2nd International Workshop on Mathematics and Physical Sciences (MatPhys) is going to be held on July 11-12, 2024, at the University of Évora, and it is
sponsored by CIMA (Center for Research in Mathematics and Applications), ICT (Institute of Earth Sciences) and NOVA-LINCS (NOVA Laboratory for Informatics and Computer Science, Évora branch).

This meeting it is a Satellite Conference of the 9th European Congress of Mathematics of the European Mathematical Society

The main purpose of this International Workshop is to bring together many well-known experts, to discuss and present new trends and significant challenges in mathematics, physical and computer sciences, and their applications as well; to build upon previous collaborations and foster new ones; to follow and discuss new topics in the area.

It will be focused on several areas, such as, but not limited to: differential equations,
statistical and mathematical methods that are relevant to biology, medical and
biomedical sciences, computer science, economics, social sciences, music,
environmental sciences, climatology, engineering, industry, fluid mechanics and their
applications, numerical simulations in various physical, geophysical, chemical,
biological and engineering applications.

Young researchers and Ph.D. students are encouraged to participate.

The MatPhys 2024 will take place in the beautiful and welcoming city of Évora,
